4th SUITMA International Seminar, 13th January 2023 (Friday), Toruń

On behalf of the Research Team Microbiology, Soil science, Food quality and Agricultural genetics (OBSIDIAN), Bydgoszcz-Toruń Branch of the Polish Soil Science Society and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, we cordially invite you to the SUITMA International Seminar, focused on current problems of urban, industrial, traffic, mining and military areas soils research.

Date: 13th January 2023 (Friday).

Venue: Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, ul. Lwowska 1, auditorium 104.

Format: hybrid (in-person and online).

We invite you to submit your proposed topics for papers and posters.

Deadline for registration with presentation (abstracts up to 300 words) - December 15th, 2022.

Deadline for registration without presentation - January 5th, 2023.

Information on the qualification and form of presentation will be sent by December 23rd, 2022.

Participation in the seminar is free. All lectures will be delivered in English.

Oral presentations:

The seminar session presentations will generally take 20 minutes (including 5 min Q/A).

Link to the online presentations (MS Teams platform) will be send a few days before the seminar.

All oral presentations saved in pdf format should be sent to sulik@umk.pl until 10th January 2023.

Poster presentations:

Poster can be prepared in any graphical program or Microsoft Office Power Point, saved in pdf, and send to sulik@umk.pl until 10th January 2023.
All posters will be available online for all registered participants.

Each poster author will give a very short (not longer than 5 minutes) oral presentation (maximum 3-5 slides, MS Power Point).
