Third Edition of Virtual International Conference

"Plant security and food safety: Microbiology, Soil Science, Food Quality and Agricultural Genetics"

26 - 27.09.2023

Dear Colleagues,

Our first and second conference on"Plant productivity and food safety: Soil science, Microbiology, Agricultural Genetics and Food quality" event was held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We intended to meet in person in 2023, having previously held multiple online meetings and conferences, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. After careful consideration and evaluation of the format of the 2023 meeting, we have decided to keep it online in order to accommodate a larger group of scientists and PhD students from around the world.

We believe that our noble and distinguished speakers from various parts of the world who have been invited to present fantastic lectures (Keynote Speakers) will captivate you with their vast knowledge and expertise and encourage you to participate in this conference. We also hope that people from all over the world who could not travel to Torun for various reasons will be able to listen to our distinguished guests talks, boast about the results of their own research and engage in discussions about "Plant productivity and food safety." We hope that, despite the fact that the conference will be hosted online, the discussions following the lectures will be as intriguing and active as in previous years.

The conference „Plant productivity and food safety: Soil science, Microbiology, Agricultural Genetics and Food quality” aims to exchange knowledge, views and scientific experience in the study of the bacterial and fungal microbiomes that support plant growth. In addition, the problems related to soil threats and security will be also discussed. Topics also cover fundamental aspects of plant metabolism and signaling, from the molecular mechanisms that control plant physiology to plant biotechnology and plant production.

Three Thematic Sessions:

I. Plant-microbial interactions in agriculture and ecosystem management

II. Plants metabolism and signaling

III. Soil threats and security

The conference will be held online at NO EXTRA CHARGE. Online participation in the conference is FREE OF CHARGE. We invite you to present the exciting results of your scientific research and engage in discussions with experts from academia.

We look forward to meeting you online on September 26 - 27, 2023.
