5th SUITMA International Seminar
The meeting opened a presentation of prof. Ali Boularbah (University Cadi Ayyad, Morocco): Trace elements contents and human health risk of vegetables of Marrakech urban market garden. The topics of the presentations were dominated by research on anthropogenic transformations and contaminations of urban and post-industrial and mining soils. At the end, a field session was planned, during which the garden soils of the Greenhouse and the Didactic Garden of the Breeding Facility of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń were presented. The seminar was prepared and conducted by Department of Soil Science and Landscape Management, Environmental Analysis Laboratory and Emerging Field: Microbiology, Soil science, Food quality and Agricultural genetics (OBSIDIAN) and Bydgoszcz-Toruń Branch of the Polish Soil Science Society. Organizing and Scientific Committee was headed by prof. Piotr Hulisz and dr hab. Przemysław Charzyński, prof. UMK.
