THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING IS A PERFECT TIME TO BEGIN NEW FIELD RESEARCH!
On March 21, a group of staff involved in the OBSIDIAN PROJECT (MARCIN ŚWITONIAK AND JULIA DZICZEK, WITH THE SUPPORT OF MACIEJ MARKIEWICZ) — an interdisciplinary NCU initiative developing solutions based on biodiversity and natural processes for soil regeneration, strengthening agricultural resilience, and improving food security — began reconnaissance research in Sokołowo.
The first fieldwork focuses on the impact of different SUBSOILING METHODS on soil properties and humus resources. This is an important stage that will help to better identify the potential of these practices in shaping soil quality and supporting its functions under contemporary environmental challenges.
WE KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR A FRUITFUL RESEARCH SEASON AND INTERESTING RESULTS!
